You are correct. I got it in yesterday. I wish I could have been at a track today as the atmospheric conditions were excellent around here.

First, I want to extend a special thanks to Eric VonHentschel for designing, building, and tuning this new engine for me. Great job Eric! Anytime you can build an engine with 132% volumetric efficiency, you are doing something very right. I also want to thank Coy Miller for the use of his race engine shop, Super Flow 901 (conservative dyno), expertise, and most of all for his patience during this marathon of a dyno session. A special thanks also goes out to Cary Chouinard at Mast Motorsports for providing me with excellent products that make great power. And also Nick at American Racing Headers for custom making me a set of stainless headers to go with this engine. OK, there is a lot more potential in this engine combination but time, energy, and fuel prohibited us from continuing to test at this time. I am sure that another 30-40 hp is just around the corner with some minor changes. The engine is still a little on the rich side, we only saw a maximum of 4# of vacuum as we were not running a vacuum pump, we made all pulls on heavy break-in oil, and all runs were performed through mufflers. The engine actually made 633 torque at 7000 rpm and 907 horsepower at 7900 rpm.

What are some more spec's on the motor? Compression ratio, cam lift, etc. Nice motor, congrats on the numbers!

Thanks. You are asking some of the "top secret" questions.

Ahh IC. I was just wondering how much camshaft lift, and compression it takes to get 900HP from the mozez heads.

What type of breakin oil did you use that was "thick"? Most that I have seen have been in the 10-30 range. Was this power made with dry sump?

If you wernt running a vac pump how did you even get 4lbs of vac?

To think when they get done with fine tuning this new combo it will more than likely be over 1K HP.

Hopefully from here on out it will only see a chassis dyno and than track results will show us what ET and MPH this new engine combo is going to provide!

In the photo posted on page 1 you can see the dry sump pump.

Good luck with the new combo DBN!

Of course, the compression ratio is high but I would rather not give a specific number at this time. We used Brad Penn 30w oil for break-in. An Aviaid 5 stage dry sump was also used. I actually thought that the dry sump pump would pull more than 4 inches of vacuum but I now have a GZ motorsports new pro pump that should give me all the vacuum that I need. Stay tuned.

N2: Come by and see it this week Jeff. And yes, I will not stop until I exceed 1000 hp N/A. I have some new parts that are in the works that should allow this to happen.

Depends on the pump. 3 lobe gears are for high vacuum. Spur gears are std.
My pump pulls 15" vacuum.

Looks Killer.
