Default What are my chances (break question)

2001 Z06 with 720-750 rwhp on a 200 hit (500 rwhp NA)
manual trans with et street radials (yeah i know)
stock trans and diff -bang?
pfadt coilovers set full soft (1/16) up front and 6/16 in the rear

I want to get a 9.9x out of it, maybe a 1.5x 60 ft, probably won't launch on the juice....

If it doesn't hop can the stock parts take the pressure? I'll try and find a trailer....

When my car was a t56 with DRs I busted a slip yoke and my output shaft on 2 different occasions when the car dead hooked. Both runs were NA passes with 415rwhp.

I see. Well, it has run a 10.89 at 129 when it was stock except for a 150 dry shot. i think that was like 520 rwhp (or maybe 490, it was back in like 2007), left on the bottle.... I only left at like 3K rpm though. I wish I could know in advance the softest I could leave and still get into the 9s.

That's why it is called "Testing & Tuning" Sometimes you need to go more then once. Especially with Manual car, you need to learn it... just sayin from exp.

lol, thanks. i also run the car in my avatar. ;-)

just curious about what people have pushed through this setup, it's all over the board. i think i found a trailer to use for the vette so I feel a little better about it, lol.

and i am not using the trailer i have for the race cars because it is massive, full of race stuff, two race cars, etc. the vette is a street car, i'd rather drive it to the track but.....

anyways, this isn't my first time down the track, or my first time to drive a stick. just the first time to drive a stick with enough power to break some parts.
