Default Rear Drag Springs

my newest addition(00' Z28 in sig) has about every Suspension part upgraded for drag racing but it has a set of BMR 1" lowering springs on it......my lack of traction is hurting my 60's..........suggestions on a better set of springs? Thanks

You don't want the v6 springs. Its a good mod when your just starting out but as you get faster you don't want the car to squat, you want the car to transfer weight over the rear tires.

I believe it's a couple different things

-They're a 25.6in tall 275 tire, I think it needs more sidewall
-Track prep was terrible
-zero heat in the track(lower 40* temps)
-I think the BMR lowering springs hurt things too

It was running mid 1.6 60's with a best of a 1.59

BMR says those springs have the same factory spring rate and shouldnt hurt your 60ft any.

deerslayinrednek Are u sayn ur best 60' is a 1.59 or for that night? Anyhow u posted a run which is literally a tenth slower than ur sig..thats really not uncommon, especially as u mentioned ur worst = poor track prep and track temp..we all struggle as the DA changes w/ the weather/season and track prep and other obstacles..if thats it then dont dwell on it..

I've cut 1.44 60s with a 6 speed on sumit lowering springs and stock springs, what's on the front for shocks? If u want u could try stock springs with the heater hose mod and it wont sit much higher than what you got in the rear. Do you have lca relocation brackets on the rear?

1.59 was the best that night but it was also the first time out with the car,the run I posted was the run before the 1.59

Unfortunately it was the first chance I had to race the car and the weather sucked. I'm going to make an attempt to get back out this weekend for the last race of the year but weather looks like it'll be highs around 48-50*

Best pass was running the 275/50-15 Hoosier DR's at 12.5psi, I started at 19psi and ended up at 12.5......I'm just trying to get ideas/seat time before the season ends
