TH400 ratchet shifter or non rachet style best?

And yes, you can accidentally click 2nd if your hand is on the shifter and your car leaves decently. With the gate shifter, you don't have to pull through the spring that the ratchet has to re-index the shifter, so it requires less effort... That's why my t-brake button isn't on the shifter.

I had a momentary switch for the Lingenfelter launch control , when the car was a 6 speed, but I didn't have to release it to launch. Just dump the clutch. But it was a good location as far as far as your body position.

I'm assuming that's a pro ratchet stealth, What did you do with the reverse lockout leaver?

I like Ratchet style shifters much better. Switched to one and won't go back. I like that the stick always returns to the same position. Also no chance of over shifting or pulling to far. Just click back as hard as you can, click again, and done. No dumb levers to mess with or try fiddling with while shifting to the next gear.

I use a B&M Quicksilver ratchet and have it under stock console. I got my stock 6 speed short stick mounted on it with my stock shift ****. Looks like a T56 in 1st gear at park. lol
