Default Removing underbody plastics/wheel liners....

I see a lot of single digit ls1 cars both with and without wheel liners and all the underbody plastics under the front of the car. Should I remove them or does it serve an aerodynamic purpose at high speed? I'm talking a high 9 sec track only car. If it won't slow me down I'm rippin that crap out of there. It's just extra **** in the way.

We went 8.20 @ 168 without it, if that helps.

I pulled all of that off my car with the exception of the air dam. There was a thread here where someone did back to back testing and the car lost mph with the air dam removed. I have not tested it myself but I know removing it will have an effect on how the air passes under the car, so it seems possible for the car to slow down without it.
