I thought the Arias heads from several years ago was some 32 valve thing that looked good but didn't flow much and cost an arm and a leg. Maybe these have real flow potential. But look like they will require a specific (proprietary?) intake manifold since the intake bolts look to be evenly spaced between every runner.

Interesting.

They are still real niiiiiiiiiiiicccccccceeeeeeee...
Always liked the Hemi.
It's funny how a head designed in 1953 could today produce 8000 HP.

I agree with ATV on this one. You can't beat the power of a MOZEZ head on an LS engine. I don't see this head making more power than a MOZEZ.

Has anyone actually got any real world data from these? Without that everything is just heresay.

They could blow the mozez head out of the water, or literally belong in the water as a boat anchor... without actually building something with them noone can say.

Expensive experiment too, I'm sure.

I remember seeing these a few years back too. Still have no idea why they didn't cast them with the 6 bolt design...

I believe I read a couple years ago when using these heads where the valve locations are and piston designs, that correct camshaft profiles will be an issue due to PTV clearance.

Let me be very clear that this is NOT my personal opinion. Just what I've read.

The 6 bolt design, is a concern.

Firehawk I wonder, if these were used with a tall deck block with the raised cam if the issue would still be there.

I have no intent of ever finding out.... just another angle to think about with it.

If you go on their website, the picture of the motor with the roots blower on it and the huge scoop is pretty badass looking though I do like that!

I know that this is resurrecting an old thread, but I thought that this would be of interest.

The link for the heads is:

http://www.nickariasjr.com/ls-chevy-hemi.asp

If you look at the page, you will find:

409 cfm intake and 301 cfm exhaust with CNC porting.

This confirms the numbers:

http://www.precisionenginetech.com/p...ls-hemi-heads/

For the Mozez, look at:

http://www.mastmotorsports.com/2010/news-view.php?id=76

At .900 lift, they flow 458 CFM on the intake and 281 CFM

So, the Mozez outflows on the intake by quite a bit.

The mozez heads are for 4.125" bore blocks. Gonna take some serious money to make them fit an LS1, and I'm not even sure you can bore an LS1 to 4.125" can you?
