It's more of what tire do you have on the car. They see your car with anything other then a stock type street radial, you will probably be asked if there's one on the car.

Slicks, drag radials, they're probably going to ask.

For the cost of the loop.. don't take a chance.. I'd just put one on and be done with it.

If you are running drag radials then it is not required. Slicks it would be.

LIke what zracer said, but like JL said, for how much they are and how long it takes to put one on, I would just do it now. You can find them in the classifieds for around 40-50 bucks and brand new your looking at 100.

.

A tip for everyone, especially quicker cars.
They now require dual loops for more & more class', so some of you might want to double check??

Cheap insurance is right. The driveshaft loop is there for a reason and it's not just the rules... it's your *** in that car at the end of the day.

all you need right here... best fitting, light weight, NHRA legal, affordable.

Give us a call. We have them in stock all the time.

For what they cost, I can't see why anyone wouldn't run one.

I run a short torque arm so its in the way. Really don't feel like buying a new mount but I guess I should eventually.

You can put the loop off the tq arm I have seen that done a couple times. Just make sure it clears the tunnel.
