Without knowing what the car runs and basing it off your sig you defiantly need a Helmet, full length pants, closed toe shoes, a driveshaft loop(good idea) and a battery tie down.

[QUOTE=jsteele90;15865812]m6? street tires? most tracks just require battery tie down, neutral safety switch, snell aproved helmet, pants, covered toe shoes, and a overflow tank for your coolant. faster than 11.50 you need a cage. dont think you need to worry about that[/QUOT
neutral safety switch? what is that for?

Pretty much everything else has been covered. Helmet is a must. Pants, closed toe shoe and battery tie down is the basic stuff for what'd you'll be running. If you go a track rental (say a car club) vs a Test And Tune the track police will be a little more flexible and not tech your car for every little thing.

OK thanks man. I know my rear end is a 10 but it is lasting the little "racing" i do with the local ricers and mustang crews that have the pleasure of keeping at bay. but i know from a dig i would shatter that thing. spending 2100-3000 on a rear is just not possible right now. If there was a cheaper way to put a 12 or 9 under there i WOULD!! Thanks to all for the tech tips and the reality check on the 10 bolt and street tires!
