I am gonna throw some Junk together and see what I can Blow up. I figure what the hell. Something about a LS based engine at 8200rpm with 30lbs of boost just sounds cool. They are gonna have to Mop up the water I push after a run.

I hear you on that one. I'm stupid lucky to team up with Cage Rage and Devlin on the chassis work. For us, we are doing the opposite of what everyone's always does:
We are building a top level chassis with no expenses spared on the turbo, transmision, rear end, or front suspension. We will get every last tenth out of this under-motor'd car i can promise you that.
The next step is to build a legit motor for the car and then we will decide if we step into ODR/x275 level or stay in Real Street. I'd prefer to stay in Real Street myself as it fits into where i've always wanted to put my car: about an 8.50 car.
LOL at the BES motor. I honestly only made that rib at you.....because i was jealous
Trust me, if i could afford it, I'd have one between my frame rails! Promise you will go easy on us in Atlanta! We're just pup-pupp's at this!

Damn nice, Tim... After seeing it in person, the excellent work quality and Devlin's work ethic stands out. Let's get some rubber klingons stuck underneath it!

That's the truth.
Update:
Just got off the phone and was able to get on board with Eric@Midwest Chassis. I've been on his back every since the LS fest after watching Brian Black's car as well as the Ohio Boy's car's effortlessly make passes down the track. I've always been lazy on upgrading the front suspension and working with dead stock front suspension, but I've scratched and saved enough to fix that this year. I'm happy to say I'll have the top notch front suspension on the car from now on. Here's what we ordered up from Eric:
race uppers
race 2pc lowers
race tubular spindle
race k-member for motorplate
pinto rack with ends
race tubular column w/ SFI release
double u-joint steering shaft
Strange front brake kit
I had a hard time finding pics of all the stuff, but Brian showed me his suspension. I'll be updating the thread with lots of pics of it before strapping it on the car so future buyers will have a go to place to reference. I can't say enough about being a part of the Midwest Chassis Team!
