I like those setups.. believe me a simple bracket made to do that with a stock ls pump, would probably make meziere get their prices for the ls electric pumps in check a little bit too.
I have a radiator mounted mez. pump on the new radiator, but if that wasn't on it I would be doing this style electirc pump on the bbc that's going in the car for sure, simply becuase they do work, and the cost is very minimal in comparison. Not pretty like the fancy big dollar setups, but last time I checked noone cares what I fast car looks like

found a better way to mount it for those not using the tensioner on the water pump.
use two of the tensioner holes, get a 3" spacer and a 1.5" spacer and no need to mount on motor plate.
it will need a longer belt. uses a 27" l pitch .5" wide 3/8 pitch belt
eg, grainger 1dhl2, $14.30

machine shop charged me 10 bucks for the spacers, and i just got two longer bolts. i think 60mm and 100mm, and i was set.

Tightened the Nut down!!!
I also ordered some LONG water pump bolts (dont remember the exact specs but will look them up) 6.5" long and cut some steel pipe down with the same I.D. as the OD of the waterpump bolt and made some 3.5-4" spacers out of the steel pipe.
I had to drill one hole in the orginal MOROSO bracket to make it line up with the waterpump bolts.
It may be woodchuck engineering but it sure as hell beat forking out of $600+ for a Meziere pump!! And should work great for our track car.

Ordered a M30 x 1.5mm Nut from fastenal drilled a hole in the pulley with a LARGE drill bit/hole saw. Put the pulley on the front of the stock waterpump pulley backwards (Moroso lettering facing towards the front of the engine)
Tightened the Nut down!!!

hey, awesome man. thanks for the writeup. one last question. how did you tighten the nut down with the pulley in the way
it definitely beats the hell out of spending 600 plus on a high dollar setup. i can see the pump spinning and replacement parts are cheap! plus i still have less than 100 bucks in the whole setup(i bought my kit used)

Tightened the nut up with a large needle nose set of vise grips on the inside of the pulley and grabbed the outside of the stock waterpump pulley with my hands and turned it reverse. ITS PRETTY TIGHT!!
Otherwise the nut screwed down onto the stock waterpump housing fairly easy by hand to snug the moroso pulley up. Then the only thing I could fit on the inside was a large set of needle nose vise grips.
Ive got $30 or so into this setup as the moroso used to be on the SBC.
