motor plate/mid plate question

how hard is it to remove the trans bolts? anyone got pics?
also has anyone run on with factory style waterpump/ps pump/alt and ati superdamper? how did yall go about that?

If you set the motor and mid plate up with the bolts front and back evenly spaced, you can hook up an engine hoist to the motor, after pulling the trans crossmember and driveshaft and lower the motor down say 2 inches, if you space the bolts right. You can then bolt the motor back up, and have alot of access to the trans bolts.
Another trick is a stud in the back of the block so when you pull the trans you just take the nuts off, then the plate doesn't want to move, motor doesn't want to slide in the plate (had this happen once when pulling a trans on a motor/mid plated car, kind of a pita) and putting the trans back on is easy, you have all the studs there to help you line it all up again.
And, you can take it all out as one piece if you have the room (cowl cut, upper radiator support cut, etc)
