Default 16V Batteries? I'm regulating the stock PCM but what else?

I'm looking to switch over from a 12v to a 16V battery. I'm looking at a prolite lithium to shed some weight and at the same time get rid of the alternator. I'm sending out my Spaghetti Menders stuff so Bob can step down the PCM voltage to 12V and add a couple of resistors to my existing cubes. However, I don't know what else I am forgetting or problems that I will encounter. I thought the stock coils were fine on 16V by what I have seen on a few cars but I want to make sure. Stock starter? How do tail/head lights hold up? (Bright! lol) I don't have a cluster anymore because I have been logging with my laptop plus I'm trying to find a cheap racepak and yes I know those two words don't go together. Any further information would be appreciated.
