Default Aluminum driveshaft good for 800-900 hp?

I need to get a driveshaft for my car and want to run a aluminum one to keep the weight down but will it be strong enough for that power level? I know a chromoly one is stronger but would like a aluminum one. Advise?

Not certain what the lengths are like with the Fbody's...but in a mustang I've seen a lot of 800ish cars with aluminum driveshafts.
And nothing special, just FMS driveshafts.

A friend makes 600 rwhp with one out of an Aerostar minivan.

You know our power, and ET's and we have a 3.5" aluminum PST drive shaft. Give Eric a call, he will get you straightened out.

I've seen them live in the 1300rwhp range...assuming it's made correctly, you'll be fine.

It more has to do with Race Weight and FORCE when the car leaves the line. Should be fine but just be aware that you still will need at least a D/S Loop.

My car is a m6 and very heavy and no time soon will it get lighter, I went with the steel for that reason. Personal Pref but again give it a shot and see what happens.

Like said, plenty of examples out there running very fast on aluminum. Really cant go wrong.

.

PST 3.5 alum, with 1050 HP, and over 1000 runs.
Checked for twist often, and never an issue.

Oh yea, 3200 lbs.

Mine was around 400ish if I remember correctly with a PST upgraded yoke.
That yoke did this and was always a super tight fit

So I put this on
