Just be safe man. By the time you get settled I will just be unpacking boxes. If I get my hands on a set of 243's or 799's I may see your guy.

The car is alive! Fired up for the first time the other day. Jeremy Formato is coming by the garage to give it a baseline tune probably tomorrow. Once I break the clutch in with 400 city miles, (will take one afternoon after I get back), I will put it on the dyno.

If it's not too late, why not have Phil tune it? Knowing what I know now about tuning(substantially more than when I first started tuning my car), I'd only let Phil touch it. Just my $.02 though

Jeremy has tuned my last 4 cars. He's a friend and I'd feel bad. Jeremy is a good tuner and so is Phil. He's been by the shop checking out the car so he knows its done and he usually gives me a decent discount. HOWEVER, is I dont feel comfortable with the tune afterwards since Im running nitrous, Ill have Phil check it out for sure!

its not really about driving 400 miles, its about heat cycles on the clutch. so driving 400 miles in one afternoon is not what they are meaning for a clutch break in.

Granted, I was mostly just exaggertaing the fact that I will be driving the car alot when I get home since I am deployed. It will take longer than an afternoon. This isnt my first rodeo, Ive broke in a few clutches before.

Couple of pics of the rear fascia painted and the borla exhaust put on and straightened. Alot of aftermarket exhaust for C5's have some issues with being lined up correctly. So made sure this one was straight and flush.

Here is a quick pic of the car right now. It still has some left over glue on the side from taking the body side mouldings off. Color looks off due to the light in the shop.

So close dude, can't wait... Car is going to look and sound sick.

You think John could get you an idle/walk around clip for the lope/exhaust?
