Default shocks

Looking at getting some drag shocks. I have the funds to buy one pair right now, wich should I buy first the fronts or back. Wich would give me better results at the track for now. Also looking at either the qa1 of strange shocks, any one of those better than the other. Thanks

Hopefully You will decide on the Strange shocks, if so please give Me a call. I have very good pricing on them!

Thanks,

I would buy some AFCO rear shocks from Mad Man. Knock the most expensive set out of the way first. For the front I would buy some Strange shocks. I have a set and LOVE them. S

Strange shocks are by far the best bang for the buck, and I can get them to you for the same or less than QA1. Afco shocks are the most tunable in this price range, and are only about 50.00 per shock more than the Strange.

Give me a call or email... I can help you decide what is right for your needs and budget, and have the best deals. Weight transfer is usually the place to aim for control first so in most cases we will go for the fronts then the rears.

I concur with Midwest. Start at the front and work back.

All the shocks we sell( Strange and AFCO) come with our tuning and support. We can spec the correct spring combo and shock package for your needs.

What's the advantage of having double adjustables? I know they adjust both compression and rebound, but i have a chance to buy strange singles and was wondering if i should hold off

I was in the same position as you trying to decide what to buy. I called Midwest chassis this morning and talked to them for about 30 minutes. They were very helpful and explained everything to me. I decided to order the strange coil over kit for the front. I'm glad I called and talked to them and i will def. be calling them back for more parts since they were so helpful and willing to talk to me about what I needed for my application.

Ok so ill look into the afco fronts now how do I know what springs to get. Do I have to weigh the car and go from there or is there another way to get the right springs.

I dont need the weight of the car. I ask a bunch of questions and then I can spec the right spring.

Go with Madman. I've use a lot of different suppliers for different parts...you can NOT beat Madman's combo of price, customer service, knowledge, etc.

is it possible to install rear afcos without the madman relocation brackets? Any pics? I know grinding would be required at minimum.

I used Burkhart's rear shock relocation kit on mine. Mine are true coilover's as well.

I'm not opposed to buying any madman products just wondering if I can install them now or if I have more stuff to order/make first.
