He'll have to cut the hood brace in the back with any hood that is bolt-on. I bet you had to cut the cowl. I hate pin-on hoods. They're a PITA. Had one and going back to bolt on even if I do have to cut. If I were you, cut the hood and see if you can get it to fit. Your problem is the Super Victor which is taller than a Victor Jr. Check out VFN's website and see what they have for 4th gen T/A's. I know it's not a ton of stuff. That's why the camaro is nicer for aftermarket hoods. Tons of hoods out there for it but that's because the WS6 hood is already nice so no one ever swaps it out.

the cowl is mainly what i had to cut. i had my superhawk hood on the car with my super vic and 4500 throttle body. i only had to trim a piece off of the back edge of the hood that was maybe 2 or 3 inches by 6 inches or so. i didn't like how the hood was right on the throttle body though so i changed to the 4 inch sloped vfn.

Does the whole hood extend to the windshield or just the scoop.

I was running my stock hood with a Scorpion 4150 with a Super Vic. Ofcource you'll have to cut. The Scorpion 4150 is the shortest 4150 TB there is and I wanted to use a Super Vic. I rolled the dice and it fit. I run a WS9 Outlaw now, but fyi, no other 4150 will fit with the Super Vic with a stock hood............

I'm guessing he's running a carb hat like me so you'll have to cut the cowl no matter what. Hood, a pin-on hood will fit without cutting. I know the bolt-on hood, the brace on the bottom will have to be cut for me to get mine fit.

I didn't have to. It was close but I was able to do it without cutting. I'm running an Extreme Velocity carb hat on top of mine. If you're gonna cut, try to go around the wiper or get as close as possible without cutting into it. You'll be ok. We just had to cut more off after it was mounted because the throttle was what we were having clearance issues with and that wasn't a big problem.
