I don't think so yet, I could see you running 10.7's potentially N/A, maybe better than that if it leavs good off the brake, do you have the 2.75 first gear or the standard 2.45?

On the juice you could be possible low 10's

10.70's? Are you drunk?
TH400 = 50 rwhp LOSS, that puts me @ 350ish rwhp.
I have an ultrabell,TH400 with 12 quarts of fluid, heavy drive shaft, heavier shifter,
not to mention more safety stuff.
A semi tight converter that nets me the same 60'.(1.51)
It 60's the same off the brake as it does footbraking it.
This is where keyboard racing meets the REAL world. The ONLY people who are
going to pick up ET going from an M6 to a TH400 are people who don't know how
to drive a six speed or can't 60' worth a ****.
On top of that,I have colder plugs, less timing(10rwhp on this cam),dropped the gear
down, and have a 2.45 first gear.
So do the math, the same 60',150# of added weight, and down 50 rwhp.

If I had a looser converter,I *might* get a high 1.4x 60'....and I STILL wouldn't be near the 10's.

What size converter are you running?

And did you dyno w/the new trans?

Figure my 3700lb car went the time in the sig with 367 to the wheels off the brake with a 1.62 60'......now if I had a 3150 car........hmmmmmm

I was also running my 3500 spray converter......

I figure through the 6-speed my MTI heads/cam setup would put down 420ish rwhp......

About 9 long hours. Bur at least the titty bars are good while I'm waiting. I'll try to be more careful than PSJ and keep my phone in the car
I don't want no stinky phone.

The fastest was a 10.63 or so for a while on the list.

Been a 10.71 at 3600 raceweight SI on a 100 dry.Car makes 435rwhp.
Soon to weight 200 less and hope to get into the 10.5 range with a stock 4l60 and 10 bolt after 10 or so 1.41-1.43 60's

with a -1400 da..

V6 Bird went a 10.5 @ 12X. I know that car has gone faster since he ran that at Hallsville though.

Now I gotta run 10.40's to get the record?
I might be able to squeeze 10.5,probably not 10.4's.

Damnit!

couple of things- Sux2bu's car is a 6.0 liter, is it not? Not a comparison, even if it is a stock 6.0.

Mikes car ( V6 Bird) is pretty light. The fastest I know of him going is 6.75 in the 1/8th. Mike/Lane, did he ever make it to the 1/4 strip?

Sean, youll get there, just find some NJ air

why am i not a comparison? i may have a few more cubes but i also have lower compression(9.4-1 as compared to 10.1-1) and i am about 85-100 lbs heavier because of it. If you guys think i have an advantage i would gladly trade anyone they're cam only 5.7 for my cam only 6.0. i got this iron block cause i'm poor and it was all i could afford (boom bitched my 5.7). if i had the chance i would jump at getting back into an aluminum block.

BTW i did my 10.64 at 129 with a 3675 race weight, and in an M6 with a ten bolt.

<------ can't wait till my 4.10, spool, 31 spline 8.8 is done!

9.x:1?

From my understanding the heads were milled, and you were closer to 11:1.

Either way, if cubes didnt matter, why run a stroker, or 427 anyhow?

you made nearly 430/420 on motor, so it doesnt sound like the cam only 6.0L is hurting for power

Regardless, 10.60s is haulin ***
