Default What's the record for Cam only/nitrous?

I'm just curious.

I may have to spray a 100 shot to get back all the power I lost going to
a TH400.

Throw some numbers at me.

why only a 100 shot, that would probably only get you into the mid 10's

Hell , he'd be lucky to run mid 10's with a 100 shot. Maybe with a 100 shot AND some weight reduction he could do it. But that doesn't answer the question ; "What's the RECORD for a cam/nitrous only car?"

Its gotta be quicker than that. I ran 10.63 stock internal with a 100 shot of tnt. I switched to 3.73 gears and a vig 3200. Back to S/I now for a little record breaking hopefully.

remember, just because they arent on the boards does not mean you have the quickest stock internal car in the country. ive seen people run faster then you with stock internals, and they arent on any boards.

if you wanna be the fastest cam only w/nitrous your gonna need alot more than a 100 shot.

I think the 01-z can handle a 150wet shot of the TNT power ring setup, thats what I had on my car before, I think it will work a lot better in a tin can

I made 367rwhp and 455rwtq with my heads/cam setup through the 400, 12bolt, etc on slicks.....

What can i expect out of a 100 shot?

150 wet seems like too much on a stock bottom end.

Not at all if it is setup right and you have a good fuel setup, run racegas, good plugs, and a good tune.

Really? That's not too surprising. But that could come down to what you consider "stock" internals. It might also come down to where you've seen it at. If these times are from New England or Texas in the late fall or early spring , then they are in much better air than the Midwest usually gets. By the way , it isn't the "quickest stock internal" car , it's the "quickest stock internal M6". There IS a difference. I'm sure that someone could run much quicker than 11.54 with a manual trans and a motor that they consider to be stock internally. But have you really seen a car run quicker than 11.54 with a stock M6 trans , stock style rear suspension (no ladder bars or 4 link) , with a motor that's never had the timing cover , valve covers or intake manifold removed , in above sea-level air in a Camaro or a Firebird?

150 wet is nothing to these cars.

we threw 200 wet at my car a few years ago with bone stock 98 fuel system, no tuning, cold plugs, stock ls1 intake and throttle body, stock rearend, stock clutch..hotcam headers and nittos.

that was a wild ride lemme tell ya. i didn't hook the car till 4th gear

I will try to manage a 10.50 on a 100 shot.
I think my motor has taken too much abuse to hit it with a 150.

The 6 speed was quicker and faster, but I never miss a shift now.
