If I remember right when I did mine you just cut the switch and butt connect the two wires together.

That will work. So far, I just push in the clutch pedal still to start mine.

I put a 40 amp relay in place of the clutch switch. The relay is triggered off the neutral safety switch on my Hurst Quarter Stick shifter. If you have an after-market shifter, you need to have a working neutral safety to pass tech.

I just leave my clutch pedal to the floor, and be sure to start my car in Park.

I tried this approach first, but the switch on the shifter couldn't handle the amperage. At least on my 93, a whole lot of amps are sent through the clutch switch. Later years may be different, but I had to put a relay in mine.

Also, some tech inspectors may ask you to put the car in gear and try to start it. It may or may not happen to you, but it happened to me.

Great Point! I have more wiring to do tomorrow! Yippee!

I just got done installing a shift light, Dedenbear Delay Box and re-doing my Line Lock, Gear Vendor OD and Trans Brake wiring. For the life of me, I dont know why I didnt think of doing the Neutral Safety Switch!

According to the wiring diagrams on Alldata, the 93 clutch switch interrupts the power wire going from the theft deterent relay to the starter solenoid. The 94 and later clutch switch interupts the trigger wire to the theft deterent relay. This of course means there is significantly less load on the 94 and later clutch switch, so that explains why both sides can be run directly to the small neutral safety switch on the aftermarket shifter.

Finally getting around to this. Is the clutch switch a 2 pin thats got a blue connector? I know I unplugged it from the clutch pedal, what about the 4 pin in this pic? I think the other one was for cruise? If it's the blue one, do I just butt them together? Thanks.

Clutch Pedal Position Switch is the 4-wire one and the Cruise Control Release Switch is the 2-wire one...
