Well, I'll get flamed I'm sure but here goes...That is an A4, correct? What rpm did it cross the traps at, since it seemed to be in 4th for a while there, and sounded near the top of it at the end of the run. What gears in the rear? While an impressive time, no doubt, it seems like it's near top speed already. Personally, the best thing about the Vette is high speed prowess. It may run 9's but if it were a true street car, with a top end of 160, who the hell cares? Around here, runs go 40-140 or 40-160+. If you get to 150 in a hurry, but start running out of steam there, you're gonna get passed by quite a few cars.
Hell of a suspension set-up to pull the fronts on a Vette and run that time with a rather low MPH.
Now, that being said, it is still quite an accomplishment, and if my assumptions are incorrect, I apologize for my iognorance.
Again, awesome accomplishment, just curious as to the TRUE street abilities of this monster, but then again, this the DRAG racing forum
