Default Race exhaust?

I currently have
Hooker Super Comps 1 3/4"
Mufflex Y pipe
Mufflex 4" Cat Back
Flowmaster 4" in and out

I am selling it all and am wondering what will make more power:
a) open headers with turnouts
b) collector mufflers
c) Keep the Y pipe run it open

This is for a track only car. I'm trying to shed weight and add power.

Thank you

Open headers with turnouts should make the most power and be the lightest. If you have O2 sensors, make sure you have enough pipe downstream of them otherwise they will foul quickly.

Many tracks require a muffler. How about a dumped bullet after the y?

Bullets are heavy, get some aluminum pipe and some band clamps. 16 inch minimum would be o2 sensor safe. Try race parts soultions,i believe they carry tubing,or ebay.

Good point
If my tracks require mufflers maybe I wont even bother changing anything and just keep the mufflex.

Put a exhaust on the car, you'll hate life w/ no exhaust and turndown's.. Esp if you wanna enjoy the car.. Been there done that...
