You can run 10's and still have a roll bar that can be easily be removed? I like the sound of that! I have always had weld in bars in my previous cars. I don't mean to pirate the op's thread but does the center bar remove easily so that the back seat is accessible for street driving?

Yeah the center has to be welded and if I go faster than 10.00 it won't be by much and my local track won't really care unless I am going 9.50's or lower. I don't see that happening with my little P1SC-1.

No problem. Along with that I did some creative weight reduction so when I get finished with the front K-member I will see how much it helped. I mainly needed the bar so my local track will get off my case. They won't let me run either of my vehicles anymore.

Get on it!! Those things are built like a tank, plenty of weight to be found. Especially if you build your own pedestals like I did.

I'm in the same boat. They haven't kicked me out yet but I have had multiple warnings. I would want something I could take out for most of the year.

The main problems I've had with competition engineering is that nothing fit nice.. we ordered a 6 pt bar for a 76 vette the main hoop was so wide we set it over the car as an exocage. That cage also almost fitin my mustang it was a few inches to short.. I would recommend gettin a Wolfe's or bending one your self

Here is the only pic I have from the back seat area. That was while I was re-installing the carpet and trim before I installed the seats.

I can completely unbolt everything if I wanted to but that would take a lot of work. It is not like you can just unbolt it and remove it when you want to. I mean you could do it if you don't mind doing 4-6 hours of work everytime you want to install or remove it. LOL!
