Get a scale weight on it, I would be really surprised if your trailer weighed 1129.
I don't see why the title would be so far off. I can move it around my yard pretty easily by hand. Are you talking about a full deck trailer being 1800? My trailer is open in the middle.

An extra 5-8 2 x 6's ain't going to add 1000#....may 200# max ?

Mine is advertized at 2000# (full wood deck, dual axle brakes)....BUT, if you look at a decent built trailer Vs. a "cheap" trailer, you'll see the differance.
Heavier guage steel, wider C-channel, and better/more bracing)....but it's your call and $$$$

I doubt my 2900lb Camaro is going to need a 2000lb trailer underneath it to support it. I can see guys that are hauling a heavier car like a 5th gen or something needing the beef. For what I use it for it fits the bill perfectly. Not sure if my trailer falls into the "cheap" category. I don't know what it sold for new, I was told they are around $2500-$2800.

Mine has a wood deck. Never done nothing to as far as coating it. Sat in the AZ sun for 5 years or so and going on 3 or so up here in Washington with no troubles. Do need to build a stone guard for it sooner or later. Use it for a lot more than hauling a car......

Me to. That's why I sold the featherlite and bought this one. It's much more versatile.

That pic is the 1st time it's ever been on a trailer to go to the track. Glad it was to. I broke a axle and the track was 3hrs from home.

Here's my turd bucket the day I brought it home. Me and a buddy stopped off at home depot. No pics with the car on it because the car has never been on it. Its a 18ft Stagecoach.

I just looked at the Anderson Trailer website and it lists my trailer at 2000lbs, lol. Not sure why my title says 1129lbs. All this time I thought I had a light trailer, oops. I didn't mean to mislead anybody, I was just going off of the weight on the title.

I knew it. I looked at ALOT of trailers before I bought my triton. Weight was a big concern for me because I intend on towing it behind my truck camper at some point. Titles weights are not always correct.

That's it. It's wider then the one i'm using. My current trailer is 85" between fenders and it only gives me a couple inches on both sides. All used trailers i'm finding online and most new ones are 83".....

I never measured mine, but there is an easy 5-6" per side of space with the car on the trailer. I'm gonna drop it off at studderin's so he can go to town with his hole saw and make it light.
