I would think the open bottom would be extremely helpful if you ever needed to really get under the car at the track for something..
Dovetail= 52"
Floor= 22" diamond plate runners
Ramps= 50 in. x 20 in. smooth surface rear slide in ramps, with 2 in. x 2 in. x 1/4 in. angle runners
Deck length= 16' (11 ft. 8 in. flat + 52 in. dovetail)
Deck height= 20" (would this clear doors?)
Looks like a pretty damn good deal IMO..
Thanks. This trailer was $7300 with the tool box, winch, aluminum wheels and l.e.d. lights. But its got a 20' deck and movable tie downs which is real handy. It weighs 1400lbs, that's pretty light for a trailer that size. I needed a aluminum trailer so I can pull it behind my truck camper to keep weight down as much as possible. I had a Featherlight(I think there is a pic in this thread) and they're a nice trailer, but not as versatile as this Triton.
The short ramps make it a pain in the *** to load. I usually back the rear tires of the truck onto some ramps and the car pulls right up. I have since welded a receiver hitch to the front to mount my winch. I have also added a tongue box to store the winch in.
