Love this thread, but no one has a matching truck and trailer. Next time I go to the track I'll snap a pic of my set up

Does anybody have a front shroud on their trailer, to protect their vehicle from rocks/debris coming off the truck?

As soon as June 1st gets here, I'm buying an ATC 18' open all aluminum car hauler. They sold the last one they had in stock on Friday. $5400 brand new, and to top it off comes standard with 7' ramps to make loading and unloading the lowered cars a bit easier. Weighs in at 1250# empty with a GVWR of 7000#. For the price, it can't be beat!

Big Tex makes a really well made trailer. It comes with removable fenders but even with our C5 lowered the doors still open with the trailer fenders on. I'd buy this trailer again.

Stumbled across these over the winter and thought I would share, these make tying down the rear end so much easier.....recommend.

Say what you want, but I don't want the head of that bolt (or nut) being the only thing holding onto my car, especially at that angle. That design looks ******* retarded. That's just me though....

+1

I would tend to agree with this. Although in theory the idea is good traveling down the road, especially on a long trip, puts a lot of strain and pull on the straps and that bracket looks like something that may fail over time. I know it can be a PITA to go up over the axle tubes but that seems like it would be worth the effort every time.
