If it were my car I would look into a little bigger converter somewhere in the 4000-4200 range if you dont plan on spraying the car, just my .02

Yea it's still a 10 bolt. It's a little loose for a 3600, but yea I do plan on a 100 shot. It's gonna be next season before I get to that, they close up shop here on Thanksgiving day. I've got a ls6 intake and 90mm TB and 100mm MAF for it, just haven't had time to put it on and I'm gonna do a 3.73

gears never picked mine up much at all to be honest if you plan on nitrous I'd prob leave the converter where it is but I would save the money from the gear swap and spend it somewhere else

You will definitely have to post new times when you get some. I'm planning on a 3800 over the winter then hopefully a cam by next spring. Hope im in the same times you are. Have you made any upgrades to the rear?

As far as the rear end itself, no. Just a t/a girdle is all. Completely stock 3.23 gear with 166,xxx miles on it. It is singing a little at speed now, that's why I considered the gear change, it's gonna have to be gone thru anyway. The big reason I want to change the gear is I feel like it's losing a little changing to third right before the lights, like 30 feet from the trap. It's not really falling out of the power bc it only drops the abt 5200 on the change but it feels so much stronger the more it turns up. The shift point is set at 6300 for 2-3 shift idk if that could be raised enough to get it thru it not and I'm already running a 26" tire

I'm hoping it will live. I'm not gonna get too crazy with the car, I'd like to leave the lighter 10bolt in it

I'm running a 28" tire, and I agree on wanting to keep the 10 bolt plus 12 bolts and 9" are expensive lol
