Default What gear in burnout box?

Hey guys when I am doing my burn out to warm the tires should I be in 1st or 2nd gear? I have a M6 with stock 3.42 gears and a spec stage 3 clutch. I did them in 1st gear last year and the Nittos never hooked, so I was thinking maybe try 2nd? Just don't know if it will have the power to do it, so thats why I am here asking, probobly a stupid question!!

2nd gear...you should have the power if you go through the water...remember its not the rpms your turning its the speed your turning the tires at.

So I should just pull in the water put it in to 2nd gear and dump the clutch? I am going to be afraid the first time!! Will this break the 10bolt? I have no trailer next weekend, so that sucks.

Do it in 2nd, also invest in a line lock and save your clutch. It will make burn outs so much easier for ya, a wise 150 dollar investment

I am getting Line lock soon, but will not have it for the weekend. So I figure I will give 2nd gear a try with out the line lock and see what happens! I just hope the 10 Bolt won't go ...
