Default 4" Y Pipe

I am just looking for some input on which Y merge I should use. I know my Pacesetter ORY is a huge restriction on my setup so I want to change it all up. I like the looks of the Vibrant - but I am looking for the best flowing one. Do you think this one would flow better or equal to the Flowmaster Merge? Mods are in my sig and I am guessing its making close to 700 rwhp with the ET and MPH I have ran. I just want to start with the best one and be done with it. Thanks everyone for the help.

Is the whole y going to be 4"? I used the 3" to 4" flowmaster one and the I portion is 4" as well followed by a 4" cutout then back to 3" to connect to the catback. Mine made 730 through this setup.

My set up is no where near as aggressive as dopefed's but I'm also using a flowmaster merge except mine is 3"-3.5" with a 3.5" cutout and then down to 3" for the catback. I am very happy with it.

Thanks for the responses guys and yes the inlets will be 3" to a 4" outlet with a dump right before the axle.

I took my tsp or/y and cut it in the middle of the merge. I then took a 4" Magna flow race bullet and ovaled the inlet to match. It was pretty loud so I added another 4" bullet with a turn down in front of the axle.

I think the Flowmaster will flow slightly better than the one you posted. That being said if you already have it I wouldn't be selling it for the Flowmaster.

c0ncEpt - that's kind of what I was wondering. I haven't ordered one yet, but I do think I will just go with the FM. Now the other question being would 4" be large enough? I would think so, not certain.

daturbosix, thanks for the pics. Looks great! I can't tell from the pic, but what are the resonator/mufflers you are running before the merger?

I am running the Flowmaster merge 3" to 4" with Magnaflow 4" race muffler exhaust exits at the bumper. I have no cut out. I made 785 RWHP, times are in my sig. Hope this helps.

jjcamaro, that is good to know since your setup is basically just like mine! Do you have any pics of your exhaust and how is the sound? Also, are you using a spring tensioner of any sort for your blower setup?
