I have a 98 ls1 a4 t/a. Bone stock minus k&n filter, it ran 13.8@102. I've done the following:
Remove front sway
Basic free mods
Lid-bellow
A few hundred rpm bigger stall
Gonna do a muffler or cutout
And change plugs n wires.
How much will a tune benefit me? Will it be worth it for the auto trans tune part of it most?
Could these mods listed w/ tune net me half a second?
Input and suggestions greatly appreciated

Heres a story of a similar car to yours and its gains from basic tuning:
a friend of mine with a 2000 convertible ls1/a4 with lid & catback was running 13.7 @103 on regular street tires. I am a hobbyist tuner at best and was able to get him down to 13.3 @107 with 1 45 minute session that was by no means a full tune just brought his afr's at wot into the 12.5-12.8 afr range on my wideband (it was flirting with 14to1 at wot untuned and you could feel it nosing over), then we were able to add a couple degrees of timing once fueling was in range , shortened up shift times , slightly bumped shift rpm's , cut all torque management in half ( he didnt want to go further than that).
car went from chirping 2nd gear to kicking sideways at shift - he was pretty happy !
