Default Cammed ls1 results

Hey I just wanted to hear from people that have basic mods like headers, exhaust, lid, stall, and a decent size cam. Whether it be a camaro or trans am I would like to see what people are running at the strip with their cammed car. If u have more than just bolt ons and a cam please say ur setup. I want to get a cam for an ls1 and was wondering if cam and bolt ons would run mid 12's. Post results! Thank you

You should be way faster than mid 12s with bolt-ons and a cam. I have bolt-ons only and run 12.0s

It all depends on the weight, and the 60'.
H/C 408 cars going mid 11's, to bolt on cars going 10's.
I've seen it all..

Well I have a cammed lt1 and it's pretty quick but I might be buying an ls1 so I'm looking for peoples experience with cammed ls1's like what they run. I know lt1's can be quick with some work but I feel like the ls1 with similar mods or cam would be faster. Anyone with a cammed ls1 feel free to speak your mind!

Mods in signature, but I've run 11.75 with 1.65 60ft on Strano lowering springs and kyb agx single adjustable handling shocks. Hopefully I can score some bettor drag shocks this spring and widdle that 60ft down. Tire wise I had 28x11.5 qtp mounted on stock camaro 16" wheels.

Any clearance issues running the 28x11.5?

I'm running ET streets 26 x 10 on stock camaro 16s and can't cut anything better than a 1.8 60ft. Stock ls1 with bolt ons.

My car did 11.9 bolt on and stall only.
Heads, cam, and intake now did 11.1 on a shitty street night.

cam only 236/236 11.3s @ 122

cam only 245/250 11.8s @ 127

like others said tho its about weight and 60' and what your goals are.
