Default What brackets for kirkey install?

I've done a search and found most people use the race craft brackets. I found some kirkey brackets on summit for 50$ and their own brand for 40$.. Huge savings! Has anyone used these though? I would hate to order them and they now work.. Thanks in advance.

Those aren't made for fbodys if that is what you are putting the seats in. Get the racecraft ones.

Has anyone else besides me had a problem with the racecraft brackets bending? Im not a fat *** by any means but after last year i went and removed my seat and noticed the inboard bracket mangled up a bit. It wasnt terrible i was able to straighten it. But curious if anyone else had an issue.

the bolt in ones, mine never bent but I could tell they were flexing up if you pushed back hard! without the back support. If you look then have thouse little holes and a few self tapper screws, spacecraft dose that for guys that wanted to make them stiffer. The run them into the floor. That one side front braket has the offset to it more so dose flex up. But, what harnesses are you using. If there have a 5point and keep them tight light you SHOULD. those seat brackets only hold the weight of the seat, even in a crash. The harnesses hold your weight.

If anything you might be doing it when your getting in or out of the car. One time a bigger friend wanted to check out the car and when to get in the backwards way ocer the door bar. You know so you end up facing the seat of some ****, hahaha. But tried to flip around or something in the car pushing back on the seat, and popped the front nuts off the studs a little It was weird, nothing happened to the nuts or the studs, no damaged threads or metal flakes anything? tighten back up fine, maybe I had them on the last thread or something??

I was wondering if that would happen as soon as I took mine out of the box. Now you say inboard, are you referring the the aluminum or steel part?

Gotcha, If it happens again, I bet racecraft would look into it with it being a safety issue.

whiteLtone- you have the back mounted???
dose the flat floor plate have the 2 holes there, you can put the metal screws into the floor (thu the carpet) that make that corner stiffer. FYI

I'll look for a pic, I bet you know what Im talking about, or they changed them? (bolt in style)
