Default Super vic intake gaskets?

Does anyone know if the stock style 5.3/6.0 truck intake gaskets would work on this intake vs the Fel-pro paper gaskets? Did a couple searches & didn't really see anyone trying this out yet. Thanks!

I dosnt remebed why but that sucked. I remebed I borke the fingers off and checked them on a SV and didnt like it?
I think the felpro PN is 1233 and a sub code the thickness. felpro says they make them in .060 .090 and some nice thick ones like .120. But everytime Ive orderd them for the supplier I get the .060s so just glue them together for when it needs. I wanted somthing thick so thought about the clip on truck ones too

I'm not worried about the cost of the gaskets.. I'm more concerned about the sealing properties, the gm truck gaskets just look like they would be better.

Ive ran 5 sets of paper gaskets on LS motors and not 1 has ever leaked. would the plastic truck gaskets even fit in there without milling the manifold? they are pretty damn thick

Man I wish my car was the point of just slapping the intake gaskets on & seeing if they work. Unfortunately it's been on jackstands for close to 2yrs now.

i tried the green and black gaskets along with some fel pro metal ones. both seemed too thick and the intake would not set in there right.

Just an FYI for anyone who is interested.. The Fel-pro MS98016T truck gaskets work just fine with a slight modification.. These are the metal body perma-seal gaskets & there are four rubber nubs on the intake side of each gasket. You just simply cut them off & the gasket will sit flat on the intake. They aren't cheap, but are a nice alternative to the paper gaskets.

No problem & yes they are reusable. Another nice thing about them is, they have two loops on each gasket that slide over your head bolts that holds them into place. Makes installing the intake pretty easy.
