Default PICS INSIDE of my cage/car

I have gotten a few PM's from people wanting to see my cage that’s now just about finished. So I figured i would post a few pictures I took a few weeks ago. The car is 25-2 spec that means the car is certified to go 6 seconds flat in the ¼ mile legally. I know that will never happen, but its nice to be over kill! Anyways.. Tell me what you guys think. I know that some of these pictures are hard to see but you get the gist of the car.

Motor mock up...

Inside..

Rocker bars and D foot Bars

Will post up the inside of the cage soon.. its almost done.

Thanks for the info.

I was reading your site, and about the Nova.

Is it hard to remove the trans now with your extra safety bars?

Right now it will drop right down from the car and miss the X brace in the back. I am working on an idea for making the stock tranny tunnel removable that would help with working on the tranny at all.

As already stated.. its called a back brace. and helps keep the rear end from flexing and bending. yes you can bend a rear end and with the TQ arm mounted to the rear end you do stand a chance of bending the rear end under time and power.

Some of you have noticed and PM’d me that in the last picture that there is a gap between the cage and the floor in the front (you can see daylight). The reason this is, is in these pictures, we have the complete cage/frame dropped down away from the body of the car about 3 inches to be able to weld up the top side of all the bars, once that was done we pushed the complete structure back into where it was meant to sit and welded it to the frame and mounting spots. If I recall in all of the pictures we have the cage dropped down. So when we were done it fit a lot tighter in the car..
