Default Rollbar needed?

What type of Roll bar is needed for 11.99 and 10.99 ETs?

I have a T-Top 98 Trans Am

Any suggestions on a manufacturer?

This is something I will install and weld myself.

I would like to get a ChroMoly set-up.

thanks

I think you need a 5pt but you may need a cage on a t-top car in the 10's!
I am sure someone will pop in that knows

A 6 point bar will cover you untill 9.99. I recommend Wolfe bars. Recieved mine this week... excellent bar. If you get the Wolfe bar, spend the extra $100 for the Jig notching. Worth every penny.

thunder racing. i got the 6pt. chromoly. but if you do it yourself im guessing you want the mild steel. i would highly recomend the removable side bars. at least on the driver side.

No, I want ChroMoly. I'm going to TIG it wether it is MS or CM steel. There is less chance of damaging the interior with a TIG welder.

Do they sell a "door bar" set-up that can be added later? I'm not going to hit the 10's this year.

if you get a cage, no reason not to get the 6point in the beginning. as long as you get removable bars you dont know its there hardly.
look on their site. it tells you all the available options and upgrades.

yes your correct.

11.5 and slower you dont need anything
11.5-10.0 you need 5 point (drivers) minimum.

You are not going to get in by next week they are out of mild steal and waiting on ship ment. I just ordered mine and they said it would be 2 -3 weeks before i could pick it up. If you want cromoly witch is 300 more then they can do it about 1 week quicker.

I ordered mine from Thunder on 04/05. It arrived from Wolfe on 04/28. Is yours powdercoated? Mine is bare (6pt MS weld-in). Maybe the powdercoating is holding them up??

Nope they just call wolfe and tell them where to send them. If you read my post they are out of mild steal and i also forgot to say that there are 30 people on the waiting list.

I know Thunder just places the order with Wolfe, thats why I said it arrived FROM WOLFE on 04/28. They obviously weren't out of mild steel when they made mine (although it does only weigh in at 75lbs????). It seems to me that alot of people have been waiting for their bars longer than I had to wait for mine... I wonder I only had to wait 3 weeks, while others who placed orders at the same time or earlier are still waiting??
