Nexen doesn't make a 17x4 front tire that I know of. And I wouldn't put Nexens on my golf cart let alone my racecar.

Thanks, I was on both their sites the other day and couldn't find anything. I'm actually looking for a radial to fit a 17 x 4.5" wheel. I don't think anything exists though, it isn't a popular size I would imagine.

Plent of people run Nexen's and I have not heard of one issue.

M&H and Hoosier both make a radial for 17x4.5. I just bought 17" alumastars and looked into this few weeks back.

I like radial skinny tires on the street but not so much the bias play non-DOTs like DS2's and ET Fronts. I've let a car on skinnies for years and even one year drove a car from IL to TN and back on them. But don't race on VW tires they can pop they are not load rated and if you wheelie they will not like it.
