So I replaced the lower bushing on my qa1's with bearings. However now I need to modify the lower t-bolt mounting piece. Fully expanded the strut just sits right on top of the lower a-arm, now when I weld mounting tabs on the lower t-bolt, it's gonna raise/compress the strut 1", will this be a problem with the travel to here the top nut on the shaft will smash into the body of the strut? I don't know how close of tolerance they make these struts. Here's a pic for better idea of what I may do...

There RaceCraft lowers. I'd give ya a call but I'd feel like a retard calling for a stupid reason, I'm sure you have better things to do then talk about retro-fitting **** like this.

Heres what im trying to mod Eric, the lower t-bolt is from the qa1 that id like to reuse to keep mounting back to the control arm like normal, however it raises/compresses the shock 1-1/4. I measured everything and the total stroke on the shock is 5-1/4 and the travel uses 4-3/4 of it so if i do this plan as pictured, then it will bottom out on the body of it. Besides spending $400 on new a-arms, do you have any ideas of a conversion piece either you or i can fab up?

Cut off the goofy t-bar mount and weld a set of tabs the the main tube. I make all my lowers this way and you get the bearing mounted lower to start off with

I have the conversion lower bearing mount for the shocks if you need.

Are you doing that to raise your overall ride height?

Eric, what are you referring to? I don't see it on the site?

No, I want ride height to be the same (just adjust height as needed), I just converted from the **** bushing they use and put a bearing in there. Just not I need to fab a way to mount them.
