that looks like a nice update, Jeanie do you have any pics, for inside the car looking out with the steering wheel and dash to compaired to the normal sunoco cowl? Or a side by side shape of the taller cowl profile, that shows were it is taller and blends to normal sunoco cowl profile shape.

I love my pin on "sunoco style" hood (stock length) saved like 45-50pounds on the car. It fits great been running it for years Some of the taller forward facing TB intake setups, that have came out in the last fear years. Fit under the hood, but there super close the the TB, and you have to face them down. This sounds like it would give alot more room.

Thanks!

Exactly why we went this route. Have noticed a trend with guys looking for something bigger for their clearance issues. To work for them, we would sell our Extended Sunoco that was designed for our front end - which had no edges - allowing them to bow up the center of the hood to gain this additional clearance.
This eliminates all of that. And they rounded out the scoop nicely...clears, without being too bulky

No pics yet from the inside. Sold the first one, and it should be picked up within the next day or two. Will see about possibly getting a few shots from him in the next few days.
They did keep the height at the back to about the same as the original Extended Sunoco..didn't want to alter it much there..creating visibility issues. Should hit right at - or about - same height.

*Forgot to add...looks great btw! *

No. But it does appear that way John ~
Scoop is the same size dimensionally as our original extended - just a little slopier to match the height.

Mondo did a photoshop to compare the two

We do make a smaller Sunoco Cowl for the LT1's already.

Not sure if we were going an extended route with it, or for the 98-02's...but will check in with our guy, see what his thoughts are on this idea - get back with you here shortly.

Thanks Much!

I 'd like to see a new design for the '98-'02 Ram Air WS6.
Something in between your old 5" lift off hood and your newer 5" lift off.
Everyone has the newer hood. We need something new.
I like the way the hood and scoop extends to the windshield.
But something needs to be done to the slope. It comes up to high at the nose and levels off to quickly. IMHO.
And I need a hood now. Just don't really like neither one of the WS6's.
