Fast 102 trap speeds
Not sure where the best place to post this but here goes....
People that switched to a fast 102 intake have you noticed any trap speed differences? I dont give a crap about any dyno numbers, i can find that stuff all day long. I would like to have a thread where people posted before and after ET's or ET differences at least.
Things that i would like to know though to compare apples to apples better.
1. Whats your car weigh roughly?
2. What cubic inch?
3. Anything else that might be important

Ill go first i guess even though i wont have my 102 track passes till Sunday!
1. Full weight car
2. 347ci, 5200 converter, afr225's @59cc, 236/242 .615/.615 111LSA, 9" w. 4.11
3. Best trap was 91.5 MPH and 1.59 60' with the LS6 intake and stock TB in the 1/8 mile
Stay tuned.... 102 intake and 92mm TB are on and waiting. Going to retune at the track also, i doubt we make a pass with the old tune, but i guess i can for *****.

Never had a before to make a solid comparison of the LS6.
Weight: 3050
Engine: SBE 346" LS1
Other Info: Ported 92mm Fast with a 92mm TB, MS3, PRC 2.5's, 5200 stall, 4.10's
Made some solid 6.40 passes with one or two 6.30 passes in the 1/8th with a trap speed of 106-107.

well, with the intake and TB on and zero tuning i went 93.75 and 94.16 mph with a 1.57 and 1.58 60'
guess that isnt to shabby with zero tuning to timing and fuel. we did raise the shift points a little after the 93.75 run but then it was tapping the limiter on the 1-2 shift and had a flair on the the 2-3 shift for the 94.16 run
DA was around 80ish. we didnt have a wide band that worked so we are going to mess with the fuel and timing on friday.
Drove the car to the track and it feels different by the seat of the pants for sure! Stay tuned and i hope to see more people post!

Trap speed was 116-117 with bolt-ons, z06 cam, ls1 intake, 6spd formula. I installed a Fast 102, 92 TB, G5x3 cam and retune, headed to track next week and will report hopefully a mph increase. It feels a lot stronger on top.

i really dont think my injectors are maxed out...People run 36# on bigger cubes. just needs the fueling tuned. once the wideband is hooked up i think it will tell us what we need to know.

On my old motor 140k miles 346, put the Fast 102(port matched to the TFS215s), NW90, TFS215s, EPS 226/234 cam and went from 385hp (11.8@114) to 462hp(11.30 @ 118) at the wheels. The nice thing was its a great intake for the bigger ci motors which I and everyone else seems to move up to.
