Contact Eric @ Midwest Chassis and have him set you up. If you want something a little cheaper (not to mention heavier), check out a Strange Dana S60.

Well im sure he will build the motor more anyways. no one leaves them stock

S60 is worth having the weight in the back anyways plus it really isn't much more than a 9 inch anyways... I haven't had any problems with my S60, and if I had to do it over again I would. Plus it's bullet proof

9" or s60 for sure, both will serve you very well.

I've been 8.80's on a GM 8.5 truck rear with 200 passes on it in a 3400lb car. Granted I know there are no 8.5's for f bodies but I don't see the need for the overkill of an S60 or a 9 inch. A 12 bolt will do just fine and will take pretty much any one of us could throw at it while keeping the parasitic losses low compared to the other suggestions. Plus with me doing that on 8.5 which is smaller than all of them.

If I could find a used 12 bolt for under 2k I'd probably pick it up, but a new S60 or 9" isn't much more. Problem with used rears are, people don't want to take more than a couple hundred loss on them, and I'd rather spend the extra couple hundred to have a brand new one. Price will play a factor in the decision of 12 bolt/ 9"/ S60. If its all pretty close, 12 bolt will most likely be my choice.

Talked to Eric @ MWC, very cool guy to talk to. Setup will be a Strange S60 with their chromoly LCAs and PHB. I figured I'd order some rear suspension parts while I'm at it!
