Default sns stage 3?

Ok so I don't really know where to post this so if it's in the wrong place I'm sorry. Alright I'm stuck choosing between two cams the torquer v2 and the sns stage 3 torque max. The car will be driven on the street a few days out of the week and be at the track 2 weekends out the month. It's going in a 346 ls1 with ported 243 heads, fast intake, longtubes, etc... the trans with be a 4l60e with a 4k stall and I will have 3.90 gears. The only problem is I can't find any info on the sns stage 3 with track times, I'm wanting to dip into the low 11's. So do any one have any experience with this cam in the 1/4, meaning how it oerforms.

Having owned the Torquer 2, I can only speak for it.To me it was a great street cam, but if my car was going to see the track twice a month I might go with something a little more agressive myself

There have been several full weight(3550-3650) cam only F-bodies run this cam to 118-120mph trap speeds.

6 speed cars that is. These are far from any type of track cars. I don't know of any of my customers who have taken this cam to the track with a stalled auto. In fact most of the customers who run this cam have 6 speeds. It would work awesome with a stalled auto just as well as it would a 6 speed with appropriate gearing.

Really wish someone would run one hard at the track a lot. It has the power curve to hit some impressive E.T.

I'll be running it somewhat hard, just want to hit low 11's all motor, H/C/I that is almost full weight, no a/c, front sway bar removed, battery relocation, etc, all the little things. So hoping I can reach my goal and I think this will be the cam I go with.

As soon as it warms up here and the tracks are open Ill try to get some times for you. Now I have a drag setup so I can actually hook.

I ran 11.9s with a 113 trap, that mph is good for mid to low 11's with a good 60ft

With a 1.4 60's I'd say that MPH is good for 11.1-11.3.

The 60' has a lot to do with how much work the customer is willing to put into getting their car to hook. Are there cams that are "easier" to hook? Sure, a smaller cam will normally be easier to hook with less stall and gear.

If the combo is optimized for a bigger cam with a looser stall and lower rear gear, the result should be good.
