Default Baseline setting for AFCO 3870F/BNC DA Shocks

Looking for some baseline settings for these shocks with 275lb springs.
I have 3 1/2" from the bottom thread of the shock to the bottom of the spanner nut, to get the stock ride height back.
It's a 14" spring, this compresses the spring to 11 1/4" with no load on it,
(off the car). And 9 3/4" when car is on the ground.
That's a total of 4 1/4" loaded, with car on the ground. That's about 30% compressed. Is this about right?
I can go lower on the stance, if neccessary. Track Car Only.
Any help will be appreciated.
