Default New Best Time, I was surprised!

My car only has the mods in my sig. It is an A4 and Previous trips at later dates I was just leaving in Drive. Last night I put it in OD. I was amazed at the difference Before Best Using D:
2.107 60 ft
5.773 330 ft
8.189 et @ 594 ft
8.711 1/8 et
86.22 1/8 mph

After Best using the OD:
1.949 60ft
5.623 330 ft
8.037 et @ 594 ft
8.559 1/8 et
86.38 1/8 mph

Is the difference in me driving better to get a better 60 ft? Or is it really the D and OD selection?

Congrats on you better times.

I have beed told to put a A4 car in od before. Weather and track prep could also be factors.

Congrats on the new best! I use to race my 94Z in OD as for some reason it shifted better. The mph in your case seems about the same but the 60' improvement is why you got the new best, good launch, Fred

Its your 60's you dropped 2 tenths off them to get your 2 tenth off the total time at the end.

Everyone's right, your improvement came from your 60'. Notice that your mph is still pretty much the same. Nice times.

Is that Brady McNew's old car?????? If not it sure looks like it, and our administration building behind it.

Damn just think if we adjusted the throttle body valve and the reverse modulator. It would fly then.

I knew someone would finally recognize the car. It was Brady's, I had to drive all the way to Mobile to pick it up about 3-4 months ago. I think he still hasn't taken down his ads yet.

We have very similar cars, you would have taken me good! I just ran mine for the first time today, and my best run was
8.685
84.11 mph I made all of my runs in OD.
Which came out to a 13.373 @ 105.15
Your car is moving out nicely!
Regards,
John

Thanks, I was running that when I was starting out and continue to run close to your numbers. It just took some time to get used to the light and getting that damn 60 ft down, this was the 2nd time I got less that 2.1 60 of my 11 total trys since I had the car.

Yep I waxed it the day before you came pick it up.... I've drove it a couple times that is a very sweet/strong running car, you got a steal.

Yep all my better runs are in OD. When I race in D sometimes it'll miss the shift and hit the rev limiter a few times till finally going through.
