Default Need some advise please

What would you do if a big name shop done this to your car?
Dropped it off with FRESH PAINT and get it back like this

Cracked the windshield dropping the trans, also broke the sensor

Drilled new holes in the hood and said its the only way it would work...it's been the other way for 2 years now with no issues

Wire on the stand alone for nitrous just twisted together and a jumper on the controller for the progressive they said they was gonna address before it was picked up

Charged for a BMR alt bracket on my bill $150 and its a stock F body, said he meant to take it off the bill because they went $1,400 over my budget and didn't think I would wanna spend the extra money, but forgot and charged me anyway

So after all of this and many calls speaking with the owner he says he will pay $450 to paint the bumper and cracked glass, but I have to drive it 4hrs to them to have it fixed or he can send me $450. Remember the paint was all fresh and $450 will not fix all these issues. So what should I do?

Seriously the work looks worse that a group of high school kids in shop class 101. You have all the pics, take to small claims court with copies of all quotes, emails, proof, lost wages, etc. You don't need a lawyer, just try to receive the full amount that the small claims allows. We are talking about a car and auto services. Because the judge drives a car, and has dealt with shops like everyone else, he/she can relate to this experience.

wow what a bunch of hacks , sorry they did that to your car.

If the shop that did this is watching this thread...notice this guy hasn't dragged your name through the mud not even a hint at who you are , he is taking care of you, you need to take care of him.

I personally would get a lawyer for when you go to small claims court because if you win (Which looks like most likely you will) the shop will have to pay your court fees and your lawyer fees. So I see it as getting a free lawyer.

that would be me that is taking them to court over a $25k build they totally screwed up. took them almost 3 years and 3 tries to build a engine and then swapped my good parts out for bad parts bad tuning stole parts etc. i am not throwing accusations im throwing out facts and have over 400 pages of texts, posts, pics, receipts, emails, etc to show my claim and cannot wait til it goes to court!there is so much paperwork my lawyer has had it since january and still hasnt sorted it all out and there is more paperwork to come! this shop the op is talking about is the same shop i used and have seen other car guys get butchered by this shop. I talked to the op and will talk to my lawyer and maybe he can be added onto my case along with others and make it a class action suit

I am one of the guys that picked the car up for Ryan and decided we need to un-f*ck it before any test passes were made. If I had a shop with a name as "big" as this one and this is the work my people put out I would fire every damn person that worked for me. There are some other questionable things when we picked this car up like the fact that he was charged for 15 gallons of c-16 and 20lbs of nitrous. When taking the car off of the trailer after picking it up it shut off because it was out of fuel and we were given no fuel at all. It had 15 lbs of nitrous with it so I am curious how you use 15 gallons of gas and only 5 pounds of nitrous when they claim they were track testing the car.
They charged roughly 900 dollars to wire in that nitrous system that looks like my 7 year old sister could have done a better job at. Bottom line is its pretty clear that these big name shops are junk and its pathetic that I see this more and more frequently. I hope that these issues can be resolved and I can say that Ryan is not the kind of person that is looking for trouble and when we picked the car up we thought it was good and ready to test until we discovered all of these issues.

I would expose them here if they are not willing to correct it. Guys on here spend a lot of money and something like this could hit them where it hurts, in $$$$$$$'s. Such a bad *** ride, hurts to see someone hack it up.

I'm with all the other guys. I would pretty much give them the chance to correct it completely, or tell them that you will be taking legal action. Telling them that you might "expose" them might also be motivation to get it fixed as they will lose a lot of business if this is seen across the internet.

Sorry to see what happened to your ride, hope it gets taken care of sooner than later.

Thanks guys, I'm still waiting and see if they make it right. It's posted on horsepowerjunkies and they are a sponsor so I know they have seen it. Hopefully I can get it resolved and get money to fix the body work and windshield. I had a few buddies fix the other issues already, adamcs, and a couple other members, they done some amazing work and those three guys alone could run the other shop outta business!!!!
