I've got a spot for you in the shop, a sawzall, and a bunch of chromoly tubing just dying to get installed in that car!

Are you guys planning on making sail panels too? 6le has one. A little friendly competition never hurt anyone

Yep... it's called the hardtop roof with the front cut off! Not too interested at this point unless we get several orders with deposits. We are more of a drag racing chassis shop and we tend to permanently get rid of t-tops for weight reduction and safety.

Ohhhhh I see. I didn't know if you guys were doing strictly for racing or if you were getting into the OEM panel stuff.

It's an 80 lb saving over t-top but what's the savings over a hardtop? Mine is bubbling and am interested in doing a carbon fiber replacement.

The OEM fiberglass roof cap is 18.5 pounds, the MWC carbon cap is 5.4 pounds, so about 13 pounds savings.

Ok, I get the weight reduction, it's very very tempting. I have ur cage, but what how is this safer? Did I take it out of context?

gets rid of glass that can shatter and roof panels that can fly off if you forget to lock them in

Metal to connect the sail panel to the windshield frame over the door, and hardtop weatherstrips.
