11.99 or under and using stock suspension ??
<strong>Just curious, but what do you run 'em at while at the track?
Full loose?</strong><hr></blockquote>
I've only had the shocks at the track once and had them set at 1 and left them alone since I was tuning w/ my MAFT. Next time I go, I will tighten them up a little and see how that goes.
BTW, Were you still interested in my converter?

Now I'm in the process of adding the Hal Shocks and springs and moving up to ET Drags but I'll still have the stock torque arm, LCA's, PHB and all rubber pieces
I sort of have an idea where I'll 60 once I'm back but I ain't telling just yet <img src="images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">

I still havnt seen a 60' improvement yet with the HALS (aka QA1's) but Im having tranny problems. We shall see.
<strong>No mods to suspension here and cutting a best of 1.56 to date.</strong><hr></blockquote>
01 mod don't count. <img src="images/icons/tongue.gif" border="0"> <img src="images/icons/wink.gif" border="0"> <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[Burnout]" />

I pulled a 1.53 w/ my TP4000E and have yet to track test my new TP4400(hoping for 1.50's <img src="images/icons/grin.gif" border="0"> ), but I really don't think I could of done that w/ my stock suspension.
IMO, the best to least needed suspension mods in order
Front Hals and drag springs: and up go the wheels like they never did before <img src="images/icons/shocked.gif" border="0">
SFC: they really do help keep the car straight off the line
LCA's: a noticeable difference in hooking on the street, not as much at the track
Torque arm: this eliminated my TCS activation I always got from busting around corners w/ the front swaybar off.
!front swaybar and a beefier rear swaybar: once again more noticeable on the street than at track
K-member and A-arms: taking 45 pounds off the front end surely never hurts, did I mention they look sweet as hell. <img src="images/icons/grin.gif" border="0">
APHR: I'm still not quite sure what this has done to help me yet, but I have one. <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0">
Rear shocks and springs: I don't have and I don't feel I need them right now, the car is having no squating problems.
I can't comment on LCA brackets, I don't know how much they help. <img src="images/icons/smile.gif" border="0">

Can the front Hals along with the drag springs be tightened up enough to give good handling on the street?

Dave</strong><hr></blockquote>
Yes, they can. they are meant to be drag/road race shocks and have 12 different settings. Setting 6 or 7 seem to work best for me on the street, as far as just being comfortable while I drive.

Anyways, 12.079 on stock suspension. Not even subframes yet. My car is a little on the light side though (3340 raceweight).
Completely stock suspension and crappy 60'(1.745)
I just kind plow my way to a low 11.
Actaully, Ill have some good ETs soon. Finanlly found a good clutch.
