Looking really good!

The a-pillar bars are designed to run parallel to the pillar, keep in mind that if someone didn't purchase our pre-fit cage then they could have easily trimmed too much off the tube and by the time it was fit properly the bar may not have been parallel. We also have to keep a respectable gap between the a-pillar and the bar in order to allow the pillar trim piece to be able to fit back in place.

We have the pre-bent cage kits in stock!

I trimmed a little to much off the pillar bars but its ok. Im not to picky but they where a little longer at first. Trial and error. Cage fits great I think. Its more of the installer than anything how the cage fits. And this was my first one.

Cage is completely mocked up and ready to weld. I sent Eric@Midwest these pictures and he replied with "weld it up"!

Started welding the cage up. Same places are easy but some places suck and you gotta be limber to get them lol. Of coarse all you guys already know this.

I like this kit a lot, I just wish the main hoop didn't come soo far forward of the b pillar, kind of gives away the the sleeper look when you look at it from the side.

Great job on the welding and swing outs!

Cage painted, Dash installed, ac delete panel installed. Decided to ditch hvac stuff. I don't drive but maybe twice a month or less and with all the stuff gone out from the dash im sure the heat from the trans and engine will be more. If it gets to cold during winter ill figure out something else.

This design is the strongest and safest. If you move the main hoop back it has to go down at the same time to clear the t-top side latch brackets and the headliner as well.

The other popular cage kit has a forward bend that more follows the window line, yes, but I guarantee you in a crash situation that the MWC cage will hold up better, especially concerning the quality of the bends themselves. The bender we use makes a much nicer, more round bend and not stretched and flattened like a muffler bender does.

Thanks Eric. Not a whole lot of threads detailing one of your fbody prefab kits like this so that's why I put so many pictures up. Im an beginning fabricator that can weld half decent so if I can do this then most can. Thanks for offering a nice kit. I am very pleased. Ill have some final interior pics soon. Feel free to show anyone if you deem this an approved install.
