Default Will the Dynabatt battery be sufficient enough to...

Run my bottle warmer and my fans at the track? Right now I have the Optima Yellow Top which is strong enough to run 2 cars but its heavy. The Dynabatt is super light but will it be able to handle the bottle warmer for the nitrous and my fans on a hot day?

That would really be pushing it. It doesnt hold a strong charge long. Mine has gotten weak plenty of times with less than that.

I agree, I think it wont last very long with the fans on and the bottle warmer. If I dont start my car every 2 weeks or so, it completely loses its charge from the factory alarm blinking and such. Its does recharge fast and I dont have any problems when its fully charged though.

it would be iffy...

If I open a door, and leave the dome light on for a couple of hours ...it won't crank over.

I don't think its gonna have the ummph to even turn over my new motor.

I have one in my car and so far haven't had any problems with it .Then again don't leave any lights or not start car even after programming with HPP and let it run a few mins.

Forget it then! I'm staying with the Optima Yellow Top. The 150 shot will make up for the added weight! <img src="images/icons/tongue.gif" border="0">

Thanks for the info guys!

Sounds like this is a racecar mod, not a streetcar mod.

It can be a street car mod but you have to remember that it doesn't have alot of reserve. I have no need to run fans or leave my lights on. It has never failed me from just driving around or letting it sit a week or more. The only time it did I had alot of drain on it for 20-30 minutes without the engine running. But if you have the optima, keep it, 15-20lbs is 3 gallons of gas as far as weight is concerned.

Y2K Blackbird, I agree. What I did in place of leaving in the Optima was remove the front bumper support.

I have been running my DynoBatt on the street for the past 3 weeks or so with no problems. It's fine so long as you don't leave your lights on, leave your radio on, leave ANYTHING on for any period of time.

I certainly wouldn't use it for the fans w/o the engine running.

Just for reference... You may want to re-think using N20 with a system that has charging problem. Remember, solenoids like a health current.
