Default Who has Viking DA shocks / coil overs with RESULTS??!!!

I'm looking for results with Viking DA shocks and or coil overs. Track times and power levels would be nice details along with power adder details. I'm trying to decide between these and AFCO coil overs as I imagine other guys are too but we need some results to base our opinions.

I had cheapo kyb agx shocks so it's a night and day difference on the Vikings. My 60' cut down and I wasn't spinning past that like I would on the kyb's. The weight transfer is so much better now on my setup. I am very happy with the vikings

Sounding pretty good since it looks like your car is making some pretty decent power. There is just allot of guys that buy them but may not repost results. Maybe they are out having too much fun with them so I started this thread hoping people will post results.

We sold and installed his shocks and springs, got him an initial baseline adjustment and then tuned a bit from there. We have seen great results form these shocks, but there are other options as well. I normally discuss what the expectations are for what the car is used for and future goals when we put a shock package together. What works for some wont necessarily work that well for others. We have seen this scenario several times in the last few years with "special valving" shocks.

How much did you drop off your sixty exactly? I am at a 1.43 sixty on stock rear shocks, and hopefully might be hitting high 1.3X's when I go back out, as my 1.43 dead hooked.

Just tying to see exactly how much could be had maybe. I only have strange SA fronts.

Went from 1.47 60' to 1.29 on my car and know I had a 1.25 in it if I had more time I'm building 3 cars right now and all of them ordered Vikings from Eric. For the price they are well worth it and simple to adjust at the track

The shocks are the single most important part of the suspension when it comes to control of the chassis and tires. When it comes down to suspension parts once you are using all heim jointed components the shocks are the parts that really do the work, after the actual chassis setup/alignment is correct. Give us a call when you are ready... We have setup the suspension and shocks for the quickest and fastest stock suspension f-body cars in the country.

My car was a consistent low 1.5 60ft with QA1 Doubles in the rear and the tires @ 10-12 psi.

Chased my tail all season due to a blown shock - wouldn't hook at all. Called Eric and ordered a set of Vikings.

Using his base settings, 16psi of air in the tires, and the worst track prep I've seen in a long time - car was right back to the low 1.5's it was running normally. I've never been able to run that much pressure in the tires, but it worked so I left it there.

I'm excited to see what it'll do on a good track.

I'll be ordering the fronts before spring.

Not the best videos but the only change was the shocks. Same launch rpm, same boost, same rbrake/2step setup. Only change were the Vikings. I would average 1.5x 60' before. Now with the Vikings I was averaging 1.37. I still have room to push more rpm on the tbrake but kept it the same as previous to see the difference

Before...
After...

Oh ****, I should also note that on the old shocks I would get out about 100' and spin a little Weight transfer/unsettling issue perhaps and confirmed in logs. That issue would happen every single pass. For a while I thought it was a trans issue. After the Vikings that issue is gone.

You get some chains for the front to hold it down and dial in the shocks it will be almost boring to cut 1.3x 60's haha
