Too many miles for the strip?

Hey whats up guys? Im thinking about taking my car to the track this or next weekend but im kinda worried about something breaking.Its a 00 camaro z28 with 136k on the clock, m6 with headers and cutout besides that everything is stock. The thing im most scared about is the 10 bolt since ive heard of some horror stories. Any input oh and what do you guys think i should run approximently.

If you're not running sticky tires, you'll likely be okay. If you feel any wheel hop, LET OUT. Other than that, have fun.

my 6 speed car survived its trip at 215k , most bolt ons ,11.9 @111 back then , currently 243k and I don't think it would run much slower , you just cant dump the clutch at 4500 on a sticky tire on a 10 bolt , bring the rpm down to 3500 and it should survive as long as its not noisy now. But it sounds like your going on regular street tires so you will likely have to be really conservative to get it moving without spinning , start with 2500 and go up from there , use a whisker of slip not just dump.

Traction will break stuff spinning generally wont unless you run into a lot of wheelhop/axle tramp
