Colonel's NA 9 second passes!!!

Colonel's NA 9 second passes!!! Ok, some of you may have to right click on the link and then "save target" to make these work. For others just clicking the link may bring it right up.
These passes were made on November 16th.
Here is my very first pass into the NA 9s! It tied the SAM's 9.97 run. THIS IS BY FAR THE BETTER OF THE TWO PASSES TO WATCH! It's a 1.65 MB file...

Here's my second and last pass of the night. We removed the belt for this pass thinking that it would help the trap speed. It didn't. Actually, it hurt the trap speed and ran VERY hot! It didn't hurt anything thank goodness. I think having the engine too hot combined with less voltage to the ignition caused the lower MPH. Fortunately, I pulled a better 60 ft time than on the first pass which more than made up for the loss of power. 9.95 was the result! <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[Burnout]" /> This one's out of focus and from behind the car looking through the smoke but at least the scoreboard is visible. A 1.08 MB file...

As far as my car and N2O for a shot at a 9sec. 346; the thought does cross my mind from time to time, but it's not gonna happen... Wrong gear, too much converter, and me and N2O just don't get along... <img src="gr_emb.gif" border="0">

Bad ***! I'm impressed!! I'm getting a 422 shortly, but it is for a more street application. I think I am also gonna get another TA/Z, put in another 422, and some auto yanked like mad. That video is inspiring me to lay down the dough.
